Siderise scores in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work – for the third year in a row
We are thrilled to announce we have been named as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 in the medium business category, for the third consecutive year.
The accolade is one of the most widely recognised and rigorously judged employment awards in the UK and is seen as a benchmark for workplace standards and employee wellbeing. Being recognised for the third time is a clear demonstration of our proactive approach and continuous commitment to our employees.
Survey results
The results are calculated by an employee survey conducted by WorkL and ranked through ‘the six steps to workplace engagement’:
75% reward and recognition
76% information sharing
81% empowerment
80% wellbeing
80% instilling pride
82% job satisfaction
Additionally, 91% of employees reported a good relationship with their direct manager, 88% felt safe in their working environment, and 84% feel proud to work for the organisation. Diversity and inclusion was also ranked as ‘excellent’. These high results place us above the average score for construction and building materials businesses.
Speaking on the accolade, Chief HR Officer, Mark Hendy, commented:
"Achieving inclusion on the Sunday Times Best Places To Work listing is always a special moment, but to do so for three consecutive years really is a great achievement for us at Siderise. Organisational culture is dynamic, and maintaining an award-winning culture is only possible because of the commitment and contribution of each colleague within the business, colleagues I'm very proud to work alongside."
Siderise CEO, Adam Turk, also commented:
“I couldn’t be more pleased or prouder to see Siderise being named as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work for a third year. The construction industry in the UK has been a tough place in the last year, so this award is dedicated to the way our amazing colleagues have pulled together. Creating a genuinely good place to work doesn’t happen by accident; it is the result of the effort, care and commitment of people across the business who want to do the right thing for colleagues and our customers, demonstrating how important aligning the team behind a strongly rooted Mission, Vision and Values is.”
