Our product training delivery method was the first in the industry to be certified to ISO 29993: 2017 (Learning services outside formal education — Service requirements).

We offer a suite of site services to help ensure that you have the skills and knowledge you need to install our products in the way they have been designed and tested to work. This starts with accessible installation guidance and how to videos, which include details on fixings, orientation and compression levels. 

The guidance is then further supported by a comprehensive installation training offer, which includes everything from ‘toolbox talks’ to ensure installation instructions and method statements are understood, to delivering practical training and benchmark installations to demonstrate what 'good' looks like for even the most complex and unique projects.  

Verify your competency

Our inspection service verifies that our products have been installed in line with guidance and any regulatory requirements, quickly identifying whether any areas need remedial actions before the works progress further. This can help to save time and money, whilst ensuring a consistently accurate installation across the project. They can be carried out in-person by our experienced site services engineers or — for more straightforward projects with standard products — using our innovative Siderise inspection app.  

However it is done, the final inspection report can be included in the handover information, providing a clear record of exactly what passive fire protection measures have been used in the building, and where and how they were installed. This can be a useful reference for future works and supports the vital ‘Golden Thread’ of product information.
