Siderise joins the Construction Inclusion Coalition

We're delighted to be joining the Construction Inclusion Coalition (CIC) as a Coalition Member. At Siderise, we believe that creating a more inclusive and diverse construction industry is both the right thing to do and important to the long-term success of our sector. We’re looking forward to working with fellow members to exchange knowledge and resources and help drive tangible change within our industry.

The CIC has been established by leading organisations within the building industry to increase equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in construction. Since its founding in 2023, it has launched a number of people-centred programmes and schemes including cross-company mentoring, the Elevate Network — providing dedicated space for women in the building materials sector to connect, develop and grow — and “Men as Allies” workshops.

The Coalition is guided by the Built on Better Pledge, which is signed by all members and sets out seven areas where they commit to take action. These include undertaking internal surveys on EDI, maintaining clear whistleblowing procedures, and committing to benchmark and track EDI data within their organisation.

Siderise’s membership will inform and support our ongoing commitment to provide a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace as part of the People pillar of our ESG strategy

Adam Turk, Chief Executive Officer commented:

Joining the Coalition and signing the Built on Better Pledge gives us the opportunity to learn from others, share ideas and contribute to positive change. We look forward to supporting the Coalition's work and continuing to strengthen equity, diversity and inclusion, both within our own business and across the wider industry.”
