Siderise Aquafon

Acoustic insulation designed for marine applications  

Aquafon is a flexible resin-bonded glass fibre quilt contained within an anti-dusting fleece and ‘zig zag’ stitched with an outer acoustic membrane which is available in two weights. The exposed surface of the product is finished with a Class ‘0’ reinforced aluminium foil. This provides excellent thermal insulation, a vapour barrier and can greatly reduce noise transmission. These characteristics make it particularly suited for use as engine room bulkhead lining, but it can also be used as an external lining sheet for ducts, pipes and tanks.
