Purpose of this position 

This role will provide administrative support for both our external Commercial team and Group Marketing team. It offers a great opportunity for either an entry level role or for someone looking for exposure to the Sales and Marketing aspects of a business, as you will directly support external sales colleagues as well as the Marketing team.

 

Key responsibilities :

CPD Seminars – Coordinate all CPD seminar requests to ensure bookings and engagement are fulfilled.

External Sales administration – general administration duties to support identified external people in the field by ensuring all activities are accurate and up to date.

Marketing administration – support and execute tasks relating to marketing activities

 

Qualifications

  • A-Level or higher education qualification (desirable).
  • Hold a grade 5/c or above in Maths and English GCSE (essential).
  • Sound knowledge and proven experience of IT systems (including CRM) with fast and accurate typing skills (essential)

 

Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills  

  • You will own the journey of a CPD seminar.
  • Responsible for capturing incoming CPD requests from all customer types and facilitating the best suited person for delivery in with face-to-face engagement or video presentation.
  • Record all feedback via CRM system to ensure all data is accurate daily.
  • Regular connection with identified external commercial people to ensure that all relative administration tasks are understood and completed within a timely manner.
  • Support with booking of hotels and transport (typically UK trains) as and when required.
  • You will process the monthly expense claims of our external sales team via Concur software.
  • You will undertake vital administrative tasks for the Marketing team including support relating to events, exhibitions, merchandise and purchase orders. 
  • Maintaining stock of promotional merchandise (based at Maesteg head office).
  • Ordering workwear and merchandise as required.
  • Able to travel (UK) and stay overnight as required, as you will likely be needed to support at industry events.
  • Capture all relative information from Siderise training sessions with customers, and Off-site exhibitions and events, then record data within our CRM system accurately.
  • Work with our Marketing team to capture Leads in readiness to convert to contacts or opportunities.
