Sustainability report news release 2025

Global manufacturer of passive fire protection and acoustic solutions, Siderise Group, has published its third annual sustainability report, providing a transparent overview of progress against its ambitious targets and demonstrating how its rapid growth is being realised without compromising its commitment to protecting both people and planet. Covering global operations across our two divisions- Siderise Insulation Ltd and Siderise (Special Products) Ltd the report sets out the issues most material to the business and its stakeholders, aligned to its four ESG pillars: Planet, People, Product and Policy.

Key highlights from the 2025 report include a 26% reduction in Scope 1 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and a 14% reduction in Scope 2 emissions compared to 2024, working towards the company’s goal to be net-zero for Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by the end of 2030. This milestone has been achieved through various energy efficiency initiatives, operational improvements, and continued investment in lower-carbon technologies across the Group’s manufacturing and operational sites.

A key milestone in relation to the company’s products is the achievement of BES 6001 Framework Standard for Responsible Sourcing, receiving a ‘Good’ certification for its stone wool product ranges. The report also details the establishment of a Biodiversity Action Plan at its main manufacturing site in Maesteg, South Wales, as well as delivering product training to 5,643 attendees across all formats during the year and responding to 10,686 technical customer enquiries.

As well as this, Siderise’s acoustic division, Siderise Special Products, achieved EcoVadis Gold status, placing it within the top 5% of more than 100,000 companies across 175+ countries that have voluntarily undergone the assessment.

The company’s ongoing commitment to creating a positive, people-focused culture also received further external recognition, retaining its listing in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, as well as being the only construction products manufacturer included in the inaugural Building Magazine Good Employer Guide 2025.

Adam Turk, CEO of Siderise Group, commented:

“Contributing to safer, more sustainable buildings is at the heart of what we do at Siderise and despite all of the macro and geopolitical challenges of 2025, our business has remained steadfastly committed to its ESG policy as we continue to expand globally.  2025 was a year of measurable progress for Siderise – a year where ambition met action. We have focused on turning our ESG commitments into consistent, measurable action across the business and showing that our strategy is creating value for the people and organisations connected to our business. This includes strengthening standards at site level,  deepening our understanding of impacts across our value chain, and ensuring ESG considerations are part of our everyday decision making.
